Wrapping Boxes

Beautiful gift wrapping sends a message of thoughtfulness that is as important as the gift itself.

Beautiful gift wrapping sends a message of thoughtfulnes that is as important as the gift itself. The packaging on these pages is guaranteed to make a lasting impression, and can be created with a few deceptively simple techniques. We've included clever ideas for dressing up our useful food packaging, as well as creative approaches for turning ordinary gift boxes into elegant works of art.
Create 'paper ribbon' using an edge punch on a strip of paper, matching the pattern on both sides. Wrap around box and attach with double-sided tape; layer with a contrasting straight-edged strip, then top with a narrower paper ribbon. For a different effect, make your punched strip slightly wider to overhang the edges of the gift box.
To make a wreath tag, cut out a paper circle and attach a loop of ribbon to the back with a dot sticker. Punch out leaf shapes in two different green tones and glue around edge, alternating colors. Transfer or write recipient's name in center. Wrap a length of ribbon around gift box, tying the bow through the tag's loop.
Stamp two leaf branch shapes from our leaf stamp set onto colored paper and cut out with craft knife. Snip off bottom two leaves on each. Using adhesive foam dots, attach branches to box with stems overlapping, adding loose leaves at top to elongate (punch additional leaves as needed). Glue small knotted ribbon where stems meet.
