Paper Poinsettias

With just a few materials, it’s easy to create vibrant paper poinsettias that will enhance holiday food packaging, gift wrapping, and table settings. Affix several of these dimensional flowers in a ring to produce a dazzling handcrafted wreath.
Using our Black Cherry leaf stamp and Sterling stamp pad, stamp seven leaves onto red craftstock; these will be the poinsettia petals. Stamp two more leaves onto light green craftstock for the poinsettia leaves. Cut out with our craft scissors, leaving a very thin border around the stamp and cutting off the stem.
Cut out a 2-inch-square red base and affix a large square of adhesive foam to the center. Construct the poinsettia by overlapping the petals on the foam in a circle. Glue the two green leaves to the base behind the flower as shown in the cover photo. Apply three dots of gel adhesive at the center of the flower and coat with Bronze glitter. Note: If the glue dot contracts as it dries, fill with more glue and reapply glitter.
