Kids' Party Favors

Easily create fun party favors with this simple project.

Creating a child's celebration from scratch can be as simple as selecting fun paper and rubber stamps. For this party, we choose bandanna and dot patterns for a colorful, festive look, and used stamped numerals to spotlight the child's age. You can also create different kinds of party favors using the same basic materials and tools.
To make simple cookie envelope, cut a square of food tissue paper large enough to fold all four corners around cookie. Seal with a bordered stamp sticker stamped with a number or initial.
Create wallet favors by folding a 12x12-inch sheet of paper in half, then fold bottom two-thirds of the way up. Seal raw edge of paper across front with double-sided tape and trim off both ends. Insert a piece of ribbon halfway up each side, then tape ends closed to completely seal. Fold in half and slip gift cards, movie passes or money.
Fold the top of a medium-sized goodie bag just below the lowest holes. Punch through all layers at upper holes with screw punch. Fold 6x6-inch square of paper into triangle, wrap around filled bag as shown, and punch aligning holes. Thread ribbon through holes from front to back, cross ends behind, and thread back to front.
