These delightful, heirloom-inspired ornaments will become treasured holiday decorations that your friends and family will enjoy year after year. You can also incorporate them into your gift wrapping as box toppers.

Cut out 12 squares of crafting paper (15-inch squares for a small ornament, 2-inch squares for a large one). Curl squares diagonally by hand into a cone and seal with glittering glue at the edge. Glue cones to a 24-inch paper circle as shown. Punch a star shape using our Radiant Star craft punch and glue it to the center. Variation: Create a different look by turning every other cone facedown, as shown in cover photo.

Brush glue inside cones and glitter their interiors. As an alternative, coat the top surface of the cones with clear glitter, or apply glitter to the center star. Punch a 1/16-inch hole in the point of one cone and string with baker’s twine to hang.
