These beautiful crepe paper tulips and daffodils won't wilt or drop petals. Use them to create
wreaths, centerpieces and bouquets. This kit makes 6 daffodils in 2 colors and
6 tulips.
Work with 3 or 4 petal color sheets at one time. Neatly stack sheets, making
sure that the paper grain is running vertically. Place petal template on top
of the stack. To keep paper from shifting, staple all around the outer edges of
the stack. Add more staples when necessary as you cut out petals. Use the same
procedure to cut out leaves using the green paper and leaf templates.
Wrap each wire with florist's tape, stretching the tape so that it sticks to itself.
Cup petals by placing both thumbs in the center (this will be the inside of the petal)
and forefingers at the edges on the reverse side. Gently pull and stretch the paper
with your thumbs, sculpting a petal shape.
Holding center pieces vertically, make 6 cuts, about 2 1/2in from the bottom
of the paper, to create 6 fringes. Tightly twist each fringe along its
whole length to make stamens.
Tightly wrap a fringed center piece around each stem, close to the top of the
wire, and twist bottom of paper around stem. Secure with florist's tape.
Tape 3 evenly spaced petals around the stem and pinch petals at base to shape.
Tape 3 more petals around stem, placing the bottom tip of each new petal between
bottom tips of previous layer's petals. Tape these into place.
Fold each leaf piece lengthwise. Wrap and tape tip of leaf around bottom of stem. Sculpt
petals and leaf to achieve desired look.

Roll a trumpet piece into a cylinder and glue edges together. Let dry. With jagged
edge of trumpet facing up, place wire in the center and pinch bottom of paper
around wire. Secure with florist's tape.

around stem, evenly spacing them between the petals you've already attached.
Crease leaf pieces in half lengthwise. Wrap and tape leaves around bottom of stem.
Once assembled, gently pull top edges of trumpet to expand circumference. Sculpt
petals and leaves to achieve desired look.
