Themed Party

When it comes to parties, why should kids have all the fun? A tasteful decorative theme can be a lovely addition to a grown-up gathering.

When it comes to parties, why should kids have all the fun? A tasteful decorative theme can be a lovely addition to a grown-up gathering. The techniques used to create this party are easily adaptable for any theme or occasion.
For invitation, stamp a bird with branch and berries from our bird stamp set onto a blank card, off center. Using a fine-tip glue pen, apply glue to berries. Sprinkle with red glitter and tap off excess.
Make place cards by stamping a bird image on flat, rectangular paper, with part of the bird above the center of the sheet. Before folding in half, trim around the bird so that the upper part protrudes. To top a favor bag, punch aligning holes with a screw punch. Thread ribbon through holes from front to back, cross ends behind, and thread back to front.
To create napkin rings, stamp a bird on double-sided paper and cut out completely. Make a ring using the reverse pattern of the same paper, and attach bird with an adhesive foam dot.
